A Little Bit About Me

Your health is an investment you make each day!

I am passionate about health and fitness.

Being diagnosed with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME*) at 9 years old and suffering for 7 years, I have come to value the gift of health.

Today, I’ve been fortunate to turn my journey and passion into a thriving profession. Since 2010 I’ve been working as a qualified Personal Trainer, guiding my clients towards a healthier lifestyle.

I have had the opportunity to help a diverse group of clients, from 18 months to 85 years old. I’ve come to realise that everybody is unique, from movement, nutrition, lifestyle, injuries, stress and the list continues. Using a variety of different training methods, nutrition support and lifestyle guidance, I aim to help each of my clients achieve their goals.

I am a firm supporter in mind-body connection and our core being the key to movement. I use a variety of diverse types of training, to deliver innovative and creative workouts that incorporate  core, meditation, balance, yoga, pilates, strength, stretching, functional and cardio conditioning, kettle bells and TRX,  injury rehabilitation, pre and post natal training and children’s functional fitness.

I have trained and studied in the UK and USA. Managing and working on many levels, from onboard Royal Caribbean to many boutique gyms in South Africa. I have had the opportunity to work with Suzi Tomlinson, Stella Nash, Tommy Matthews and Nicole Seymour where she has learnt and trained with the best of the best, resulting in her dynamic approach.

Our bodies were made to move, from our first to our last breathe. How we move changes throughout our lives  - but we keep moving.

Our nourishment is key in supporting a healthy lifestyle. Movement and nourishment work together in supporting our health.

* ME commonly known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome multi-system disease that causes dysfunction of the neurological, immune, endocrine and energy metabolism systems.
